If you do not care about the actual force feedback feature (which is hardly supported anywhere) you can manually disable the LogitechForceFeedback.kext extension to let the Overdrive handle your device. The Logitech force feedback gaming devices are handled by a specific kernel extension that ships with macOS and has a higher priority than the Overdrive. If your device is not fully supported please let me know and I’ll see what I can do. I don’t like to spend days on a single device to reverse-engineer it and add specific workarounds for its non-compliant controls, but I’ve done it in the past for popular devices and I’ll do it again in the future as a service to USB Overdrive users. Some Logitech and Razer mice hide some of their buttons and cannot be fully handled without intimate knowledge of their vendor-specific behavior, which is not usually disclosed to third parties. Since multitouch gestures are more important than any other additional setting, the USB Overdrive is now leaving all Apple devices alone and no longer tries to handle them in any way. I’ve been talking to Apple for a long time about this, but it looks like multitouch event generation is not going to be available to 3rd parties anytime soon. I have pushed these mice onto others and have had Kensington mice for over 30 years. I am absolutely floored that they rather loose my business than ship a replacement quickly. But they won't do it so now I am looking for another company to do business with and since it's still new am asking them to send me a money back form so I can send it back to them and get my money back. I work with FedEx Ground a bit myself and that option is available. Talked with a supervisor who told me basically that they don't have the option to expedite it through FedEx Ground. And they don't have any way for me to undo the firmware update. But now I am out a mouse and do not want to wait until I get back for a mouse I actively use. Which if they didn't brick the one I have would be okay fine, but I am leaving for Mexico this Sunday and honestly would have been able to live with the mouse the way it was until I got back to the states in 3-6 months. Was also told it would take 10-14 business days to get the replacement mouse. But of course this was a gift so I have to get the person who bought it off Amazon to send me the invoice and send it on or something. They are saying they'll replace it once I get them the invoice from Amazon. The buttons still work, the scroll wheel still works, but the mouse doesn't move and unplugging and plugging it back in no longer fixes it. Talking with Kensington support online had me update the firmware and now I can't even use the mouse at all. Think I got it in December so this is a recent purchase. Just had this start happening with my new Kensington.
